Subject: Cotswold District Council Local Plan consultation

Dear Jolyon,

I understand that the Cotswold District Council Local Plan consultation document has
provoked some debate in the village. The District Council are planning on uploading the
attached to their website as evidence for the Sherborne Big Nature Better Access policy.

A couple of things I would point out is that we have changed the Project name from Big
Nature Big Access to Big Nature Better Access which I don’t think is reflected on the Council
website and that the access map in particular is from 2022 and so shouldn’t be taken as the
definitive article.

I am happy to take you and your fellow parish councillors through the documents in more
detail if you wish but I should point out that there is nothing really new in here that we
haven’t already spoken about over the last 18 months or so.

Regards,

Andrew Danson
