In 1986 Lord Sherborne bequeathed his Sherborne Estate to the National Trust. Today the Estate extends to 4,000 acres of land and circa 80 dwellings.

The way in which the National Trust manages Sherborne Estate has a profound impact on the social well-being of the community and the Parish Council continues to welcome members of the local National Trust management team to attend meetings and provide updates on Housing and Landscape matters.

Parishioners can bring to the attention of the Parish Council anything that concerns them, either by attending Council meetings or by emailing the Clerk at clerk@sherborneparish.org

Meeting minutes contain details of updates provided by the National Trust. A summary of current topics of interest can be found on our Issues/Q&A Tracker page.
